ER5-V001 is an educational 5-axis robot arm manipulator built for engineering students to provide them with a hands-on experience in controlling and understanding the functionality of a robot arm.
The robot arm will be designed to perform various tasks such as picking and placing objects, drawing patterns, and moving along a specified trajectory.
The project will include the development of a user-friendly interface that will allow students to control the robot arm manipulator easily and will provide visual feedback, such as 3D models and real-time movement tracking, to enhance the learning experience.
Overall, this project will provide engineering students with valuable experience in robotics, programming, and interfacing. By the end of the project, students will have gained a comprehensive understanding of the different components of a robot arm and how they work together to perform complex tasks. My Mission on this project
In this project, my primary responsibility is the mechanical design and implementation of the robot arm manipulator. This includes designing the robot arm and building efficient and robust mechanical solutions. Additionally, I am responsible for selecting compatible motors that will ensure the reliability and efficiency of the robot arm.
To achieve this, I will be utilizing a combination of 3D printing and aluminium parts to create a solid and sturdy assembly. Most of the parts will be 3D printed, and aluminium parts will be added for support where necessary. The 3D printing technology will allow us to rapidly prototype and iterate designs to ensure that the final assembly is optimized for performance, reliability, and efficiency.
I will be performing thorough testing and evaluation of the mechanical components to ensure that they meet the desired standards for performance and safety.
By providing a strong and reliable mechanical foundation for the project, we can ensure that the robot arm manipulator is capable of performing complex tasks accurately and safely, providing valuable hands-on experience for engineering students.
